About the Conference:
There is no debate today about the critical importance of education and scientific research and their central role in achieving development, progress, and advancement. The successful experiences of developed nations have unequivocally demonstrated that genuine progress begins with a strong focus on education and scientific research. These nations advanced because they recognized the necessity of developing and prioritizing these fields in their programs, policies, and plans, alongside allocating significant budgets to support them. From this perspective, it becomes imperative for us to align with the scientific and informational revolution by focusing on enhancing the education sector and emphasizing scientific research. Building on the remarkable success of the first edition of the conference, "The Reality of Education and Scientific Research in the Gulf States," and the second edition, "The Second International Scientific Conference on the Reality of Education and Scientific Research in African Countries," the third edition of the conference delves deeper into this framework. It aims to explore, evaluate, and diagnose the current state of education and scientific research in Southeast Asian countries, highlight the reasons behind its advancements, forecast its future development, and discuss the relationship between educational and research outputs and real-world needs. Moreover, it seeks to emphasize the role of educational institutions and researchers in fostering progress and keeping pace with developed nations. To achieve the conference's aspirations and objectives, the Preparatory Committee invites experts, university faculty members, specialists, and stakeholders from ministries, institutions, research centers, and public and private sectors in Southeast Asian countries to actively participate in the conference, through attendance, engagement, and contribution.
