Introduction

Speaking plays a major role in developing the language abilities of non-native Arabic speakers, yet it can present a significant obstacle for many learners. They may have little difficulty benefiting from listening, reading, and writing, while using spoken Arabic in real-life situations remains challenging. This difficulty results from several factors, including limited opportunities to practice and the absence of an Arabic-speaking environment. This lecture addresses the subject because of its importance in helping learners overcome those barriers.
