Program Overview:
The peer review process is one of the cornerstones of academic publishing quality and a vital mechanism to ensure the credibility of scientific output. In this context, the Diploma in Scientific Research Peer Review According to International Standards has been designed to equip participants with the essential skills and practical experience required to perform the duties of a scientific reviewer with competence, integrity, and objectivity.
This diploma places strong emphasis on the practical aspects of the review process—from receiving the manuscript to writing the final review report. It guides participants through evaluating each section of a manuscript: the title, abstract, introduction, objectives, methodology, results, conclusions, and references. Each stage is accompanied by hands-on training to ensure participants can effectively apply the acquired skills in real-world publishing environments.
The primary goal of this program is to prepare qualified reviewers who can contribute to enhancing the quality of scientific publishing locally and internationally, in alignment with best practices and internationally recognized standards in peer-reviewed journals.
