About the Course

A scientific research proposal is a document prepared by a student or researcher and submitted to an academic or review committee to demonstrate their understanding of the proposed research topic and to obtain approval to proceed with the study.

Researchers should clearly distinguish between a research proposal and a research plan. A research plan outlines the intended course of the study and may be revised as the research progresses, whereas a research proposal is primarily prepared to present and justify the proposed study for academic approval.
